Thay \(xy = 112\) vào (1) ta có: \(\displaystyle {{{x^2}} \over {16}} = {{112} \over {28}} = 4\)
\( \displaystyle \Rightarrow {x^2} =4.16= 64=8^2\)
\(\Rightarrow x = 8\) hoặc \(x = -8\).
- Với \(x = 8\) thì \(\displaystyle y = {{112} \over 8} = 14\)
- Với \(x = -8\) thì \(\displaystyle y = {{112} \over { - 8}} = - 14\)
Vậy \(x = 8 ;\; y = 14\) hoặc \(x = -8 ; \;y = -14\).
