Last week I went to an International Food Festival taking place in Hai Phong. Because the festival only (1)___ place for one day, hundreds of people crowded into it. Đó là lễ hội ẩm thực lớn nhất mà tôi từng thấy. có 30 nước tham gia vào lễ hội. Họ mang đến những món ăn truyền thống đặc sản để thể hiện ẩm thực đặc biệt của đất nước mình.

Tôi rất ấn tượng với món salad Cobb. Đó là một món salad Mỹ với rau củ được thái ra gồm cà chua, thịt nguội, ức gà, trứng luộc chính, quả bơ, phô mai và giấm rượu vang đỏ. Bởi vì món salad cần ít nguyên liệu nên làm nó cũng rất nhanh. Một người đầu bếp Mỹ ở lễ hội đã cho tôi thấy cách làm món salad và tôi chỉ mất 15 phút để hoàn thành. Thật đáng ngạc nhiên! Ngày tiếp theo tôi làm salad Cobb cho mẹ tôi ăn bữa trưa, và bà thích nó ngay lập tức.

Một món ngon khác là bánh thịt nướng, một loại bánh thịt truyền thống của Anh làm từ thịt nướng hầm và nước xốt thịt bò, nằm trong vỏ bánh mì. Không may thay, tôi đã không có đủ thời gian để nghe người đầu bếp giải thích cách làm món ăn này. Dù sao, tôi đã ăn thử và nó thật tuyệt vời.

Năm tới, nếu có một lễ hội ẩm thực nữa, tôi chắc chắn sẽ tham gia.

I loved lasagne. It all began when I was three years old. I flew to Australia with my parents on Singapore Airlines. On the plane they served special food for children, and one of the dishes was lasagne. I fell in love with that dish immediately and ate a big portion. Since then, whenever we eat out in an Italian restaurant, I've chosen lasagne.

DID YOU HATE ANY FOOD WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD?

Sure, I really hated fish. My mother loved it, so we had it almost every day. Although she cooked different dishes such as steamed fish, fried fish, or fish soup, I still didn't like the taste, the smell, or anything about it. The strange thing is that I liked fish nuggets at Kuick, and I had them sometimes on Sundays.

WHICH DO YOU PREFER: HAVING MEALS AT HOME
OR EATING OUT?

My job involves travelling a lot, so I treasure any meal with my parents at home. It's our happiest time when we can gather together and share a lot of things. I love eating at home also because my mother is a great cook who can create unusual (fishes with everyday ingredients.

Mặc dù bà nấu nhiều món khác nhau như cá hấp, cá rán và cháo cá, tôi vẫn không thích vị hay mùi hay bất kì thứ gì về nó. Điều kỳ lạ là tôi thích cá viên ở Kuick, và tôi thỉnh thoảng sẽ ăn chúng vào Chủ nhật.

Công việc của tôi phải đi lại rất nhiều, nên tôi quý trọng mỗi bữa ăn cùng bố mẹ ở nhà. Đó là khoảng thời gian hạnh phúc nhất khi chúng tôi có thể quây quần bên nhau và chia sẽ rất nhiều thứ. Tôi thích ăn ở nhà cũng bởi vì mẹ tôi là một người nấu ăn giỏi, người có thể tạo ra nhiều món cá khác lạ mỗi ngày.
